Chancel Choir - Vocal Choir
The Chancel Choir is composed of mixed voices(soprano, alto, tenor, bass). This group leads in worship in the 9 a.m. worship service. Adults and Youth are welcome. Chancel Choir meets September through May. We work on one or two musicals during the year. Chancel Choir rehearses in the Sanctuary on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m.Children’s Choir - Vocal Choir
The Children’s Choir is composed of children ages 5-11. This choir works on two musicals per year—Christmas and Spring. The Children’s Choir meets from October through early December and from February through early May. The choir sings occasionally in worship plus the performance of the musicals. Rehearsal time is 5:00-6:00 p.m. They'll present the musical, The Ultimate Question, April 25, 2010.
Worship Team - Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble
The Worship team consists of adult vocal musicians and adult/youth instrumentalists including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and percussion. This group leads in the Contemporary Worship service on Sunday mornings at 11:15 a.m. They focus on Contemporary music. This group meets throughout the entire year. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:00 a.m.Special Music Opportunities
On most Sundays in the 9:00 a.m. service, we have people provide a variety of special music. Volunteers schedule vocal or instrumental special music through Barbara Farnsley.
