Disaster Relief Efforts
Alabama Disaster Relief Drive
Thanks to all who generously gave time, items and funds for the Alabama Disaster Relief Drive! Special thanks to Aldi's, for lending the trailer, and to:
Ron Bray who drove the semi truck and to Dick Martin who accompanied him. Deliveries were made May 23 to Shades Crest Baptist Church in Birmingham.
Those who accepted donations at the trailer: Ron & Candie Bray, Sherrye Calhoun, Bob Cooper, Wayne Ferrill, Fred & Marcia Harris, Joel Hawkins and the First Baptist Youth, Bob Wessel, Ashley Wilkinson and Shirley Jackson.
Dan Catellier and Phil Jackson for painting and hanging signs.
Tom Bridges, Joyce & Aaron Castleman for administrative assistance.
Hugs to the third graders of Pleasant Grove Elementary for their collection of toys in honor of their teacher, Kim Irvin. Jim & Nancy Sallee of Sand Creek Baptist Church, Decatur County, Greensburg, who brought a trailer full of items.

FBC Greenwood is partnering with Shades Crest Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama to provide items needed following the deadly tornadoes in Alabama.
Shades Crest Baptist Church

and assist with Volunteer Housing.
