01   Dr. Thomas Bridges Senior Pastor Pastor Tom has begun his tenth year in ministry with our church in October. A native of Georgia, he has served three churches in Indiana since graduating from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received a Doctorate in ministry from Christian Theological Seminary and was awarded a Lilly clergy renewal scholarship in 2005. Pastor Bridges has served in several capacities in state and national Baptist life and has been active in our greater Greenwood community serving with the Parks Department as they develop trails, pathways and park expansion. He and his wife Pamela have two grown children, Ashley and Tara and two grandchildren, Grace and Iver. (Ask to see their pictures!) Pam and Tom enjoy birding and gardening. Tom loves bicycling and outdoor activities. Life is good!
02   Rev. Joyce Castleman Associate Pastor Joyce joined the staff in January of 2004. A native Hoosier, she has served churches in Indiana, Philadelphia and South Dakota. In addition to local church leadership, she has led numerous regional and national children, youth and Christian Education events. She served as denominational staff for American Baptist Churches/USA in the office of World Mission Support. Joyce and her husband, Aaron, have one teenage daughter, Beth.
03   Joel Hawkins Youth Pastor

Joel Hawkins , our Youth Pastor,  graduated from Judson College—now Judson University—in Elgin Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry/adolescent studies in 2002. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004. He is married to Heidi, who is employed at St Vincent's Hospital. They have two little rug-rats of the furry barking kind—Lucy and Sydney! Joel enjoys all sports, outdoor activities (especially fishing), woodworking, and writing. 04   Barbara Farnsley Pastor of Music Barbara Farnsley is from Franklin, Indiana and has been involved with music since she was a child. She has served in American Baptist, Southern Baptist and Christian churches since accepting God's call to music ministry. She holds a B.A. and a Master's Degree in Music Education from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. She says that God has blessed her in amazing ways through working with people in music ministry in the local church. May God receive all the glory!
