Green Lake Conference Center is a beautiful Christian conference and leadership training center located in south central Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide a special Christian environment of service, equipping, renewal and networking that helps to produce more and stronger disciples and churches. Founded by the American Baptists in 1943, the conference center now reaches out to partner with American Baptists and a wide range of other Christian organizations to build God’s kingdom.

We offer a wide range of accommodations for groups of up to 1,000. Our premium choices include modern hotel rooms and suites in Bauer, Kern and Lawson Lodges, rooms in Roger Williams Inn, plus seven beautiful lakefront houses. Our mid-level choices include hotel rooms in Lone Tree Lodge and eight forest houses. Cabins and campsites offer economical choices, while students are accommodated in Robbins North and South Halls dorms and Warner-Kallman cabin. Our 30,000 square feet of meeting space and full dining and banquet food service provide many options to meet conference needs.

There are abundant recreation opportunities available at Green Lake. They include boating and swimming in our beautiful spring fed lake, playing golf on two championship 18 hole golf courses and climbing Judson Tower to enjoy spectacular views. Guests can also play disc golf or work out using weight training equipment in our fitness room. Basketball and volleyball are available at the indoor recreation center. Shoppers will enjoy our Worldwide Gifts mission store.

We offer transformational conferences for pastors, potential church planters, youth and families. We host many different Christian groups and organizations from all denominations that run their own conferences. We also enjoy hosting a wide variety of groups who do not have a religious purpose, including university retreats, school environmental education groups, scrapbooking groups, non-profit companies coming for training meetings, and many others. We are a favorite location for family reunions and vacationers.

The conference center has a wonderful history beginning with the Lawsons who founded and developed the estate in the late1800s and early 1900s as a farm, to a 1920s luxury country club, to the miraculous purchase of the estate in 1943 by the American Baptists. Since our first season in 1944, this has been a place where people have come to experience a closer walk with God, inspired by great Christian leaders from Martin Luther King Jr., to Leighton Ford, to Philip Yancey.
